DogStars Professional Dog Training Program

Students will participate in a 5 part course:

1. Initial interview quiz - done via phone
2. In class study - theory
3. In class participation with your own dog and supplied dogs later in the program
4. Observe DogStars classes - for 6 hours
5. 2 Mid term Quiz and Final Exam - Practical and Theory

Physical Health and Endurance:

Students must have good balance and stability - there may be dogs jumping on them from time to time
Overall strength and balance is a necessity when training animals.
Walking with dog on leash - regularly
Running may also be required with dog and without dog
Frequent changing of direction may be required at times

Do I have to have a dog for the entire program?

Yes - Students are required to arrange their own access to a friendly dog (your own or someone close)to take through the program.

If you are not able to arrange one - please let us know and we can supply one for you.

Education and equipment requirements?

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years old or older
Access to a computer (email) and basic computer skills required

What is the cost of the program?

Tuition is $4750 plus tax (total - $ 5320.00)
