DogStars talent agency evolved out of Georgina Bradley’s work as an on set trainer, beginning in 1995. Her hands on experience and natural intuition as an assistant trainer led to the pursuit of a wider dream, including training private clients.
Opportunity Knocks
In 2002, Georgina was working with an amazing young golden retriever name ‘Henry’ when Sony happened to be looking for an animal with his exact abilities for a commercial. After a successful Whistler shoot, the Dogstars Talent Agency had its first animal star. Georgina combined her talent for training with her on set experience and began forming her own roster of animal actors.
The Big Time
2004 brought DogStars Talent Agency its first major project, with Disney’s Air Buddies. DogStars Talent Agency provided more animal stars, along with the specialized training and handling required to get golden retriever puppies to save their kidnapped family. The Air Buddies movies became a series of films, with DogStars providing training for the rest of the films. From there, DogStars became renowned for their training and talent, with such highlights as Marmaduke, Beethoven Saves Christmas, 101 Dalmatians and special projects including the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
